Wedding Hair Trial
Welcome to my bridal hair studio, set in my pretty little cottage garden in Crowborough, East Sussex, on the border of kent, close to TunbridgeWells.
Join me for a cup of tea, or a cheeky glass of Prosecco while we together create the hairstyle of your dreams.
Book your trial anywhere from six months to two months before the wedding.
Fridays are my trial days. Occasionally I can do a Tuesday or Wednesday daytime, fitted around my regular clients. Maybe tie this in with a bridal makeup trial or a dress fitting. \
I am not available for trials at the weekend, as my full attention is on my beautiful brides for their special day.
Please feel free to bring one friend or family member for a second opinion.
Have a think about your hair cut and colour. How will you want your hair to be at the time of your wedding? Will you need to start preparing for your dream hair goal now?
Deep Conditioning Treatments. Start factoring these in once a month to ensure your hair is as healthy as possible.
Avoid having your hair cut after your trial, if possible, if it means losing length.
A complete change of colour needs to be made at least two months before the wedding. Just in-case you don’t like it!
A top up of your regular colour can to be done a week before the wedding.
If possible, wear a light coloured top of a similar neckline to your dress. This will give you an idea of how the hairstyle will look with your dress.
Wear similar makeup and jewellery to the trial that you may wear on the day.
Pinterest is a great place to create your own mood board of hairstyles that you may like to try. Here is the link to my bridal hair board www.pinterest.co.uk/sbweddinghair
Invite me to your Pinterest wedding hair inspiration board to collaborate.
Bring your hair accessories and veil if you have them. (This is where it starts to get real!)
I have a range of hair accessories for you to practice with if you haven’t chosen yet and I also have a veil.
Think about the possibility of incorporating clip-in hair extensions to create more height, volume, or length. I will be happy help you with this.
Think about having your hair-up, or down or maybe even half-up. Curly, wavy, or straight? How do you want your bridesmaids to wear their hair?
Please come to the trial with hair washed and dried in its natural state, or smoothed if it is unruly.
How will I remember your hairstyle? I will take photographs, make notes and make a sketch for my reference.
I am more than happy to answer any further questions you may have by email or WhatsApp message.
I look forward to meeting you soon and taking you on this very special journey!
Love Liz x
